Allen Gwynnes Pumps was founded in 1880 by W. H. Allen Group Ltd of UK. We have been the manufacturer of end suction “Nimbus” Pumps in Malaysia since 1976. We were acquired by PumpOne Engineering Sdn Bhd since 2007 and currently operate in many major buildings and factories in Malaysia as well as overseas.
We are a one-shop manufacturer with complete casting, machining, assembly and testing process under one roof. Our in house application engineers are ready to support your needs and will work out feasible pump-solutions for your project. We also support our customers for installation and maintenance if required.
Over the years, Allen Gwynnes Pumps have been growing steadily; broadening its range of services and constantly accelerating innovations in all aspects to maintain an exponential growth in the driving force of new technology in today’s world. It is our aim to provide clients with a high quality service, delivering reliable and trustworthy services with a dynamic approach to meet the clients’ ever-changing needs and expectations.
Pumps that Make a Difference
Our ranges of pumps are made to handle tough situations it is often put in.
The sturdy long lasting design that originated from the UK and optimized in Malaysia for local applications, did prove over many years to function in toughest conditions for many industries. The pumps are used in processing plants and as built-in parts in the water-supply, fire-fighting industry and wastewater sector to municipal, private and industrial customers. They include a few ranges as specified below:
End Suction Pumps
Our end-suction pumps are used in water supply, industrial pressure boosting, industrial liquid transfer, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), and irrigation. The pumps are all non-self-priming single-stage, centrifugal volute pumps with axial suction port, radial discharge port and horizontal shaft.
Process Pumps
The range of process pumps and equipment that we carry are perfectly suited for your liquid transfer needs. The pumps are designed to transfer products within your process. We have various types of pumps that cover a wide array of applications including but not limited to commercial, industrial, sanitary, and chemical.
Self-Priming Pumps
Self-priming pumps are easy to operate and service. They run high and dry above the water level, so maintenance can be completed quickly and easily. We manufacture a full line of these versatile self-priming pumps specially designed for murky water, limited solids and clear liquids applications.
Split Casing Pumps
Split case pumps have been developed to offer the end user maximum efficiency and design life over a wide range of duties. The well proven design not only achieves market leading efficiencies, but also offers long component life, easy maintenance and reduced levels of efficiency degradation. The standard materials of construction include a high quality stainless steel impeller, stainless shaft cartridge mechanical seals and internally coated casing.
Vertical Multi Stage In-line Pumps
These commercial/industrial centrifugal pumps are non-self-priming (gravity feed) units designed to handle high-pressure/low-flow liquid transfer applications where no suction lift is required. Typical installations include hot and chilled water, boiler feed, condensate return, irrigation, high pressure wash-down, booster service, and sprinkler systems.
The Foundry Facilities
Test Lab is ready to test the pumps performance. We have in-house Application Engineers whom are available to support and fulfill your requirements and will work out feasible pump-solutions for your project. We also cater support to our customers for installation and maintenance if required. We are able to accommodate the needs for the pump performance test to our customer.
Stock Available
We have adopted new technology for our product range to provide the most efficient and effective service. We have ex-stock for every model of the pumps. The purpose of having buffer stock for all parts in order to overcome the customer down time. For special material request such as SS304 / SS316 then our KPI required 4 to 5 weeks to complete that would include bare pumps and spare parts.
AGL 150 Pump (Hydrocyclone Pumps)
Hydrocyclone pumps is use to pumping abrasive solid such as sand always leads to damages to the pumping unit. The output of the cyclone pump with respect to driving system is rather low (20%-30%). Consequently application is only recommended for cases in which energy cost are not significant, for instance when the pump is a small part of a large system. Cyclone pumps applied to the continuous pumping of sand-water mixtures for sand flume and river scale models with movable bed. Cyclone pumps is able to separate solids from the flow, are treated qualitatively.

AGSP Pump
The AGSP is stand for Allen Gwynnes Seft Priming Pumps. This is single stage end suction centrifugal type designed for a wide variety of applications. Spare parts stocking is cut to minimum through high interchangeability of manufactured components. The standard casing mounted arrangement feature “Back Pull Out”, the end shaft diameter are design to fit the tapper lock pulley. This pumps is using Semi and open impeller. This kind of impeller is suitable for handling solid application. The large diameter shaft design to take full load stresses with deflection. Fully machined and ground section where finishing and dimensional tolerance are critical.

AGS Pump
The AGS is stand for Allen Gwynnes Split Casing Pumps. The Casing is axially split, which permits removal of the complete rotor without moving either piping or motor. Pumps generating high heads have double volutes to reduce radial forces, ensuring minimal shaft deflection and low bearing loads.

AGV Pump
The AGV is stand for Allen Gwynnes Vertical Multistage In line Pumps. This Pump directly coupled to a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) electric motor. The Impeller, diffuser, intermediate chamber, shaft and casing, other parts in AISI 304 standless steel 304. Mechanical seal in carbon vs tungsten carbide. The rubber parts all in NBR or EDPM. We also have Option suction and discharge ports material in AISI 304 standless steel 304. This pumps maximum working pressure is from 16 bar up to 30 bars depending on the pumps models.
